Games

Here are all the games I worked on.
Some of them are very old and have a lot of issues.

Currently in development

Games I am working on at the moment.
Could get finished or abandoned - time will tell.

Slimevania / Cubevania (working title)

GameMaker Studio remake of the PICO-8 game I made a while back.
I'm going to try and make it a big metroidvania game if I have enough time and don't give up.

Tube Craft Racers (working title)

Much improved version of Tube Craft (see below). Should feature multiple AI opponents and a level editor.
I've posted some gifs of it on twitter.
Seems promising enough but I'm a bit stuck on the AI programming.
Also GameMaker isn't very fast so there's some slowdown here and there that I'm struggling to reduce.

Completed games

Games that I have completed.
These are usually the best ones, or at least the most noteworthy.

MetroCUBEvania

Fun little metroidvania game I made during a holiday break.

This is the first game I made using PICO-8, and it turned out pretty well I think.

You control a blue cube making your way through tough platforming sequences.

There's plenty of checkpoints though, so don't worry about dying.

Along the way you will find several items that give you new abilities, such as a double jump or a powerful dive.

These abilities allow you to access previously inacessible areas.

There is also a boss fight at the end.

The game got recently featured on lexaloffle.com, and it appears on coolmath-games.com,

making it the first game I ever received money for.

It can be quite hard but there is a difficulty setting, and the coolmath version is even easier.

Crazy Christmas Chase

Tiny shmup game where you control Santa Claus' sleigh, trying to shoot birds (?) while delivering presents.
The game gets gradually faster and faster.

Features Game Jolt achievements.

Tube Craft

Fake 3D racing game, inspired by DrTypo's "Tube" on Atari Jaguar.
Very badly programmed, but somewhat impressive considering the limitations of GameMaker 8 Lite.
A better version of this game is in the works.

Includes a level editor.

Work In Progress / Abandoned games

Incomplete or unfinished games.

Super Glovekid

A retro-inspired platformer that got last released at SAGExpo 2018.
I somehow managed to keep this game in development for several years but the end result leaves a lot to be desired.
It's almost finished so I might come back to it at one point.

Super Glovekid

Older games

Here's some of the oldest games I made.
Most of them have difficulty issues and bad controls or graphics.
Only check them out if you're curious.

Blue Guy in Red's Revenge

Simple platformer based on an old GameMaker game by Nitromatic. You control a blue square through multiple screens of precision platforming and one-hit-death scenarios.

Tower of Doomsday

Experimental tower-climbing game, inspired by Nebulus (C64) among others.

Poorly programmed : it's very easy to get stuck, as demonstrated in the screenshot.

Super Glovekid 3

Longer version of Glovekid 3. Very slippery and hard. The game also lacks a save feature and there's only one song that plays through the whole game (!).

Glovekid Collection

Awful 2D platformers with slippery controls and insane difficulty. Not fun at all. Some of the first somewhat ambitious games I made.
