Fun little metroidvania game I made during a holiday break.
This is the first game I made using PICO-8, and it turned out pretty well I think.
You control a blue cube making your way through tough platforming sequences.
There's plenty of checkpoints though, so don't worry about dying.
Along the way you will find several items that give you new abilities, such as a double jump or a powerful dive.
These abilities allow you to access previously inacessible areas.
There is also a boss fight at the end.
The game got recently featured on lexaloffle.com, and it appears on coolmath-games.com,
making it the first game I ever received money for.
It can be quite hard but there is a difficulty setting, and the coolmath version is even easier.
The original Blue Guy on YoyoGames (archive)
Experimental tower-climbing game, inspired by Nebulus (C64) among others.
Poorly programmed : it's very easy to get stuck, as demonstrated in the screenshot.
Awful 2D platformers with slippery controls and insane difficulty. Not fun at all. Some of the first somewhat ambitious games I made.
